Blowing, firing and casting glass in 100 degree Dallas heat

What better week to begin the glass button for the Kickstarter Lottie Pop Pinwheel by Gustavo?  Dallas will have 100 degree days all week.  A million cuts for tiny shards of fused glass will make the difference in the depth and desire of the glass button for the pinwheel.  Then experimenting with polka dots, stripes or fairy dust.
