Lottie Logic - Another use for an old TV remote

Dental hygiene takes forever doesn't it?

1. Step One - Flossing - one to two minutes

Every graduating ceremony you've attended in the last 10 years the speaker can't resist this line: Floss every day for success. What?

2. Step Two - STEM-U-DENT - one to two minutes

Little match box looking box holds 25 sticks called plaque removers with directions to insert pointed end between theeth with flat side next to gums. Use gentle in and out motion to clean between teeth. Do NOT force into tight spaces between teeth. Don't follow instructions and I can't say what will happen.

3. Step three - Electric Toothbrush - seems like 10 minutes

You're tired of this hygiene routine before you turn it on success in life or not.

The answer? Read a book. But how to keep it open, especially a paperback when you need both hands for your dental hygiene? Your old TV clicker. Keep your batteries in the clicker for weight. Rubbery buttons face down to grip the pages.

Read while flossing, stemudenting and brushing. 30 minutes of dental hygiene will fly by like 5 minutes. Problem solved.

Stayed tuned for more helpful hints and Lottie Logic.

Nic Noblique at The Cameron Gallery

The East Dallas Triplets (Andie, Cynthia, Lottie) went to the opening reception for Nic Noblique at The Cameron Gallery tonight. Nic Noblique totally charmed us. He explained his powder coating process, paint and sculpting and galleries. Really nice guy. Then I talked to his lovely wife Audra about the Friends of Lottie Sculpture Garden and she said there's a possibility. Great night. Guess this is what it feels like to go back stage at a rock concert.

First Lottie Logic post

I think I'll start with showing you how my State Fair of Texas pieces is going to happen.

Doug and Juli gave me a wonderful big round ring, it's big. I'll get a picture for you. I've decided to make mosaic pieces and for an aquarium and put them in the ring. For the top, a small school of blue fish with yellow tails. Don't know the name of the fish, but they are in nearly every aquarium I've ever noticed.

Starting with a half inch rod, I cut two pieces 4" for the fish body and two pieces 3" for the tail. Picture shown of my second chop saw. Chop saw number 1 died last year. Bent the cut pieces into the shape of fish. Pulled out the best toy Bob ever bought me, my little red welder. Welded the 4 pieces.

Tomorrow I'll show you the glass I made for the inside of the fish.

I crashed www.lottieminick.com and had to redo much simpler. Check it out.
